- Open living concepts are continuing to stay in demand, however, industry professionals are seeing it wain a bit as customers shift towards wanting some level of privacy has started to increase
- Homes are being designed more for multi-generational living – i.e., masters on first floor for parents and/or live in grandparents
- Kitchen design is still huge, as this is where everyone congregates. So even if homeowner is not a cook or does minimal food prep, they still want a lux kitchen
- Kitchen cabinet design is becoming more integrated – fewer uppers and more thoughtful integrated cabinetry on walls
- Home design is leaning on more modern, clean architectural lines with windows – millennials are wanting less
