Love Waterfall Islands?

We do, too! This amazing waterfall island is in the South End neighborhood of Boston and looks super luxurious with the mitered built up edges. The waterfall detailing really completes the whole room! This kitchen is on the small side, but the waterfall detailing does not overpower the space, proving you can do a lot of stone in a small space, too.

This city kitchen perfectly blends modern details – such as slab doors and gold hardware – with traditional elements like framed inset cabinetry.  Designer Lisa Buyuk did an amazing job creating a kitchen space that is both contemporary for city living and warm and inviting.

Natick Metropolitan designer Jen Stuart really worked her magic to maximize functionality and flow in a small space. Hats off to the Metropolitan stone team, who did outstanding work with the fabrication and installation of the marble waterfall island countertop and full height backplash. It was an amazing team collaboration!
